I just wanted to update you, my readers, because not all of you are on Facebook with me. I don’t remember when I last wrote, so, if I repeat myself, just remember, my mind seems to be gone part of the time!!
I found Orange Marshmallows at Schnucks on Saturday, after having coffee and breakfast with a friend, so, I made two batches of Orange Rice Krispy treats on Tuesday evening. Gave almost all of them away. Then, I went into work last night and this friend bought some for me and had them in my mailbox at my other job, so, I get to make two more batches!
Wednesday night or Thursday morning, I cannot remember which, I decided my goals for this week, I told my counselor Wednesday night that I didn’t have any goals, unless maybe it was to get back into doing some more baking, but after thinking about it for a while, my TWO goals for the week: To find something good everyday, and, to find something to smile about everyday, even if I have to resort to either one or both of them being my dogs. So far, that hasn’t been the case and yesterday I started my little journal of them.
I’m not sure if I will see my counselor tomorrow morning or not, I AM feeling better than Wednesday night, but if there more things that I can work on, or, get encouraged on, I would like to meet. I’ll just play it by ear.
Last night, I found out I have lost eight pounds. And then I went home from work and made three batches of banana bread because I didn’t want to throw the over ripe bananas away. I gave two of the loaves away, and kept one, mostly for my brother, or, if the kids happen to drop by, like they did for the rice krispy treats!

You sound great, my friend. I’m so glad to see positive things. And congrats on losing 8 pounds. That is awesome! I bought some of that green coffee bean extract at Walmart today. I will let you know if it works or not. Hope you have a great weekend!
